SOL LEARNING TRIPS

Experiential journeys that build heart, insight, and impact. Not just a trip, but a transformation.

WHAT MAKES OUR LEARNING TRIPS SPECIAL?

SOL Learning Trips take you beyond the classroom and into communities, where empathy, action, and connection come alive. Every journey is designed for real-world relevance and deep, personal growth.

  • Not a typical vacation

Each journey is crafted with intention and depth, going far beyond sightseeing. Reflection, conversation, and learning are woven into every step.

  • Action & impact-driven

We believe learning happens through doing. Participants engage directly with community partners and explore what it means to create impact from the ground up.

  • Inclusive, cross-generational learning

Open to students, educators, professionals, and families. Every experience invites dialogue and connection across age and background.

  • Co-created with local partners

Every trip is built with local partners to ensure cultural integrity, shared value, authentic learning, and lasting relationships.

WHERE WE’VE BEEN

Four journeys, each co-created with the people who live there.

  1. A SOL learning trip in Bhutan

    Bhutan · Winter 2025

Bhutan: A Journey into Wellbeing and Connection

Rooted in Bhutan’s national philosophy of wellbeing and co-created with local partners including ELC High School, this journey blended mindful reflection, cultural exchange, and meaningful service. Individuals, couples, and families travelled together across generations, from guided wellbeing retreats to hands-on community visits.

  2. A SOL learning trip in Chiang Mai

    Chiang Mai, Thailand · October 2025 · 3 days

    Chiang Mai: Empathy in Action

A three-day journey practising empathy through real encounters: stories of redemption at a prison museum, co-creation with local students, and time spent bringing joy to elders in the community. Short in time, deep in heart. A trip that turned compassion into action.

  3. A SOL learning trip in Sakon Nakhon

    Sakon Nakhon, Thailand · September 2025 · 3 days

    Sakon Nakhon: Resilience in Action

A three-day immersion where ancestral knowledge and contemporary life intertwined. 4. A SOL family learning trip in Bhutan

    Bhutan · April 2025 · 9 days

Bhutan: A Family Journey of Mindfulness, Culture & Connection
